Offered here is an excellent rust free California example of this enduring classic. It is made all the more desirable by being one of the only 830 cars built in their final production year of 1971 and featuring both hard and soft tops, automatic transmission, Becker radio and factory air-conditioning. Recently refinished in its original shade of Dunkelrot (Dark Red DB542) with Cognac leather. Freshly serviced, it is ready to enjoy some summer fun!

As one of the most popular and instantly recognizable classics, the 113 chassis ‘Pagoda’ top roadsters are as beautiful as Marlene Dietrich, as sporting as Boris Becker and as ruthlessly efficient and reliable as anything that its Teutonic parents could create. A true delight to drive with all the sybaritic amenities the era could afford (power steering, power brakes, optional air conditioning, etc.), these handsome machines were both practical and fun. The superbly designed, disappearing soft top protected the occupants from all but the very worst that the elements could throw at it and when that was not enough, the removable hard top fit so well that one could scarcely discern that the car was ever convertible.
