Since its introduction in 1963, the 911 was an instant classic. Through constant evolvement, it remained at the forefront of technology but never strayed from its roots, hence its perennial popularity. With the launch of the SC in 1978, it reached a new high. The displacement was increased to 3.0 litres and the crankcase changed from magnesium to aluminium. Also, the brakes were upgraded with servo-assisstance. Consequently, performance was significantly improved in addition to durability & driveability. As a result, they are widely regarded as the most reliable 911 produced.

This car was delivered new to Europe (before they were available in the U.S.) and was brought to the States shortly after. With just 94,000 original Km (58,000 miles) on the clock, it is in superb condition throughout. The Grand Prix White coachwork is virtually unmarked and the black, elephant grain (a Euro-only option) interior is near perfect. The factory sunroof operates faultlessly as do the other electrics. Beneath the retro-installed 930 tail, the engine is in the peak of health and the car drives superbly. The Fuchs alloys are shod with new Yokohama tyres and the original handbook, spare wheel & tools are all present.
